Devyani Gupta is a dual-qualified lawyer admitted to practice in India and the State of New York, and serves as Counsel at India Counsel Network. She is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association, the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association, and the Delhi High Court Bar Association.

Location
An Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India, she regularly represents clients in high- stakes constitutional, commercial, election, and regulatory litigation before the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Election Commission of India, and specialized tribunals such as CERC and APTEL.
Devyani’s practice spans litigation and arbitration across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and public governance. She has acted for public utility companies, transmission licensees, state departments, and political entities in both contractual disputes and constitutional challenges. Her work includes appearances before arbitral tribunals and court proceedings arising out of arbitral awards.
- Representing the Appellants before a seven-judge Constitution Bench on the issue of sub-classification within Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
- Advising and appearing in arbitrations involving EPC and construction contracts for infrastructure entities.
- Acting for various political parties in disqualification under high-stakes proceedings the Tenth Schedule and in symbol disputes under the Representation of the People Act.
- Representing electricity generation and distribution companies before CERC, APTEL, and the Hon’ble Supreme Court in regulatory and contractual proceedings.
